WHISTLER
The Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre has created some amazing workshops for you and the kids to immerse yourself in over the Family Day Weekend.
On Saturday 19th you can choose to make your own Cedar Paddle Rattle or Dreamcatcher. On Sunday 20th they are holding a Drum making Workshop. Starry Nights – Glow In The Dark Creations If you haven’t had a chance to check it out already, head over to the Mary Young Arts Centre and take a walk through “night forests” illuminated by the moon. This solo art exhibit from artist Dave “PEPE” Petko showcases nighttime forest and cityscapes, contradictory in colour, shape, and feeling, with one thing in common – the stars and moon. Open daily from midday to 6pm.
The Beijing Olympics Broadcast daily at the Whistler Olympic Plaza from 9am-4pm. conveniently located near the playground =)

PEMBERTON
GUESS HOW MANY COMPETITION!
The Village of Pemberton has created a fun family competition to keep you guessing….Pick up a map, or view online, this self guided, physically distanced, contest taking place between February 18-21. The map will lead you to eleven different local Pemberton storefronts. Each participating business will provide a jar, such as a jar of coffee beans at a local coffee shop, filled with an item to guess the count! Whichever family guesses the closest number (or above) to the amount in the jar wins that stores prize, valued at $60. Guesses must be submitted by 6pm on Tuesday February 22 via email to pemrecinfo@pemberton.ca

For those who feel like getting creative there is a Photography Challenge.
The photography challenge is a great way to get out in nature and capture the essence of Pemberton. The winner’s artwork will be displayed on this years Fall/Winter Recreation Guide and they will receive a $100 gift certificate to Pemberton Valley Supermarket!
