Eagle Viewing Squamish
Squamish is home to North America’s largest gathering of Bald Eagles. Drawn by spawning salmon in the Squamish and Cheakamus Rivers, bald eagles start arriving as early as November and stay as late as March, with their population peaking during December and January. It is a great time to get outside and view the Eagles with your “bubble”.The primary viewing area is Eagle Run Park located on Government Road in Brackendale. This accessible park is located on the Squamish River dyke and features an information kiosk and telescopes.

Each winter a special ice skating rink opens in Whistler Olympic Plaza, where you can go ice skating in the heart of Whistler Village with views of the surrounding mountains, the Olympic Rings and thousands of twinkling, festive lights.
An adaptive, measured approach has been taken to safely re-open. Just add friends from your bubble, hot chocolate and have fun on the ice. Open Daily.
