Pemberton Sunflower Maze – August 14th – August 31st 8am – 8pm daily
Get lost in a seemingly endless array of sunflowers, with the view of Mt. Currie in the background. Along the way, you’ll get to learn about bees, the lifecycle of sunflowers, and other fun nature facts. After you’ve completed the maze, head over to The Beer Farmers for a refreshing pint!
Squamish Wind Festival – August 1st – August 28th
From virtual live-stream concerts, drive-in movie experiences, workshops and art installations this event has been reimagined but the mandate remains the same in supporting arts and culture. The event series will abide by all COVID-19 guidelines to keep our community safe and supported. With this in mind, a diverse mix of programming has been created for all to enjoy during this time of transition.
Whistler Forest Bathing – Saturday’s – August 15, 22, 29 8am – 9 am Forest bathing catalyzes increased parasympathetic nervous system activity which prompts rest, conserves energy, and slows down the heart rate while increasing intestinal and gland activity. Lower cortisol concentrations are also a signal that the body’s stress-response system is being triggered less. Now is the time to slow things down and take a guided walk in the forest.
